Do not insert your information into template text fields.
Some ATS scanners will reject resumes with excessive embedded code. ATS scanners do not care about design. It is reading your keywords and content.
2. Which type of resume do recruiters prefer?
Chronological resumes. Functional resumes which emphasize your skills are typically used to cover frequent or prolonged employment gaps.
3. How long should my resume be?
The length should be commensurate with years of experience and accomplishments.
For new graduates with no work experience, one page is adequate.
With more experience and quantifiable accomplishments, a two-page resume is acceptable.
Executives with multiple years of experience and accomplishments can use three to four pages.
