We coach our clients to become compelling storytellers. Stories well told are memorable, especially in a job interview. Believe me, being a good storyteller significantly enhances your ability to land the best jobs.

When we bring up the topic of storytelling in our coaching classes, people often think of a narrative that will emphasize virtue — courage, honor, or integrity. Or perhaps an example of where good triumphs over evil or when someone achieves redemption after a costly mistake.

But sometimes the story should be about clarity, cutting a straight line from being too cute by half to the core of the matter – your value; that you can do the job, that you are a trustworthy person who will respect their values.

The story you tell and how you tell it can make a meaningful difference in a relationship and career.
