It was only a matter of time before the next big innovation in career management arrived.  In my morning news briefing, I found a story from BusinessInsider about an interactive resume bot that answers recruiter questions. And besides being an outside-the-box solution, it actually worked.

The creator, 29-year-old marketing professional David Vidal from Spain, said the bot was used 30,000 times; he got 14 online interviews and 11 job offers.

The creator, 29-year-old marketing professional David Vidal from Spain, said the bot was used 30,000 times; he got 14 online interviews and 11 job offers.

He used a free trial program called Landbot, a non-AI automated conversation creator.  No coding was required.

Recruiters press a button marked “Let’s start the interview.”  Automated messages popped presenting Mr. Vidal before the next prompt was issued. The questions were typical of those found in initial screening interviews.

This is an early-stage example, but you can expect more innovation soon as the pace of change accelerates.
