Yesterday I shared my four rules to accelerate your next job search.  Rule number one is “Don’t make a habit of waiting for employers or their recruiters to call you.  Seize the moment!  It makes sense, right? 

But this is life, and what would life be like be without irony?

Some of the top product and service salespeople suffer mightily from the diminished ability to sell themselves.   They can sell their products and services all day long, but they are missing in action when it comes to selling their value. This reluctance is deeply rooted in parenting values – don’t brag about yourself – to a deeply held concern about presenting a shame-less self-promoter image to friends and colleagues.

But there is a way to do this correctly, without negative implications; to tell your story in a meaningful and compelling way.  That is what we do.
