In a recent informal survey, 40 senior executives who recently completed a job transition said their biggest career mistake – and regret – was not devoting more time to strategic networking on an ongoing basis – every week, every month. The most common comment? Not appreciating the importance of maintaining a robust networking effort, even they were not in the job market.
Looking for a management or executive job is a complex, challenging process. Without a network to provide actionable business intelligence or an actual job referral, finding a job becomes that much more difficult.
