Out hustle the competition; Don’t Give Up

Posted April 6th, 2021 | Author: John G. Self

One of the worst feelings is losing your job and knowing that you did not have enough cash to pay the rent and buy food.

Companies are hiring now, but there is a massive backlog of people who lost their jobs at the start of the Covid-19 lockdown. But do not despair. There is good news and a pathway to success.

Here is a winning goal:  Don’t be like everyone else! Work harder and smarter.

  1. First, acknowledge that hunting for a new job has dramatically changed. What worked in the past will not work today.
  2. Second, exploit market opportunities. Many of the millions who remain unemployed are uninformed of, or unwilling to adapt to, the new rules. This is excellent news for you. Now go out-hustle your competitors. Customize your resume, do your homework and prepare/rehearse for each interview.
  3. There will be rejection. Get back up and go again.  Do not give up.
