Why should I care whether a prospective employer has a robust onboarding program? Fair question.  So, try this one on for size:

Companies that provide a robust onboarding experience for new employees can improve retention by an impressive 82 percent. As a new employee, onboarding dramatically improves your chances of succeeding in your new role when it is done right.  

Employees who have a negative onboarding experience are two times more likely to look for another employment opportunity almost immediately.
